Introduction: In this project, I want to create some anthropomorphic characters which can help me explore the connection between people and inorganic objects. Chair is a very common furniture in life, it can be said that the connection with people is very close. That's why I chose it as the inspiration for my work. I saw a senior student doing a project that was a ballroom dancing chair, two chairs dancing like people, the front two legs raised from time to time, like two arms. Most chairs have four legs, and people walk on all fours before they walk upright. I see the commonality between chairs and people.
One day when I was walking, I found two groups of chairs with a very strong sense of painting, which had a very specific human image in my mind, so I drew them down. There are also two contrasting chairs which, although not found in the same place, I have painted as a combination. The three sets of chairs x humans are the lady and the gentleman, the old man, the queen and the maid, the strong man bodyguard and the Holy Angel. It makes me feel that people and chairs have something in common.
